(EstateNewsWire.com, August 14, 2012 ) Dallas, TX -- Large companies and one-man shops join the United Servicers Association and attend annual workshops for special appliance repair training and the opportunity to network with others. The ASTI was a huge success and members of the appliance repair association are looking forward to the annual RSM workshop this fall.
Factory trainers from Whirlpool, Bosch, Frigidaire, Dacor and Scotsman will be present to answer questions and introduce new appliance features and repair techniques. Appliance service manuals will be passed out and members will enjoy the opportunity to share experiences and take classes to update their skills and boost their confidence.
Service technicians discover the value of sharing their ideas with their peers who return the favor and share tips of their own. Owners and managers of appliance repair companies apply what they learn at the workshop to grow and expand their business.
The United Servicers Association has made it their mission to connect and form Peer Groups – smaller communities of servicers from non-competing markets who work together on improving their respective businesses. The USA is proud to connect the groups, but the end result comes from the collaboration of the members. Visit http://www.unitedservicers.com/ for information about joining.
One of the most valuable things service techs take away is the support and friendships formed with their peers. People from all aspects of the industry attend the annual ASTI convention and the Regional Service Meetings where they make connections and form business relationships.
The Regional Service Meeting is a two-day workshop focused on bringing appliance repair technicians together to view the newest models and learn the latest repair techniques. The registration fee of $119 includes 5 meals, training materials and a membership to the United Servicers Association. The workshop takes place on Sept 20 and 21. Appliance service technicians should register early for discounted hotel accommodations. Visit http://www.appliancerepairtraining.org/ to learn more.
