A family of nine was left homeless after a dryer fire caused extensive damage to their home. The kids were home from school, so getting everyone out of the home safely was huge. Thanks to an observant three-year old who noticed the fire in the basement, the family escaped without injury, but they lost everything. They did not have renterÂ’s insurance. Another family trapped in the upper unit of the duplex was also rescued.
