Recent research indicates the power factor is typically 95 percent in most homes; not the 77 percent claimed by some marketers of the product.”
Antony Bradley provides more sensible advice for saving energy in the home. “In my opinion, the savings is minute compared to the cost of the product,” said Bradley. “There are many other things you can do to save electricity, including turning off lights and TVs when not in use, and weatherizing your home.”
