Originally from Germany, Stern moved to the USA to attend the Berklee College of Music and eventually moved to New York City, playing guitar in various rock and jazz bands. Stern, the wife of Miles Davis' sideman guitarist Mike Stern, has 16 CD releases to her credit with her most recent CD notating her increasingly evident progression into world music. Stern will perform on the main floor of Bossa and is one of many jazz/world artists the venue hosts nightly.
