Mr. Slavitt is a seasoned business professional with a broad range of experience in industry and investment banking and brings to IPH an outstanding record of achievement in finance, mergers and acquisitions, real estate, operations, retail and e-commerce.
Headquartered in Pasadena, CA, IPH is a leader in estate transition research, training and education to ensure that heirs are fully prepared to receive and manage wealth. Through its Engaging & Retaining Heir Families™ program, IPH trains professional advisors worldwide on the soft-side skills needed to prepare parents and heirs for the transfer of wealth.
A magna cum laude graduate of Claremont McKenna College, Mr. Slavitt began his career with Arthur Young and Company (now Ernst & Young) and, in 1981, was recruited to be Corporate Controller of a newly formed division of conglomerate Dyson-Kissner-Moran. In 1986, Mr. Slavitt left Dyson-Kissner-Moran once the divestiture of his division was completed.
Mr. Slavitt then formed his first boutique investment banking firm, which, along with a second firm he founded, provided merger and acquisition, corporate finance and other advisory services to privately held companies.
In 2000, Mr. Slavitt left the investment-banking arena to pursue opportunities as an entrepreneur and business owner. With three partners, Mr. Slavitt formed E-Z UP® Direct as the e-commerce platform to sell the complete line of E-Z UP® Instant Shelters, the world’s largest manufacturer of instant shelters.
In 2006, Mr. Slavitt sold his interest in E-Z UP® Direct to the two founders of International E-Z UP, Inc., enabling him to focus on his next venture, Allmark, Inc.
From 2004, concurrent to running E-Z UP® Direct, Mr. Slavitt was also the Chief Executive Officer of Allmark, Inc., a real estate investment and management company based in the Inland Empire of Southern California.
In 2009, Mr. Slavitt formed The PrimeMark Group to provide exit strategy planning and shareholder wealth enhancement advisory services to the middle market.
