Their Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) perform selected nursing care as directed by the RNs, which includes observations and medication administration. Upon request, Abbore Care Inc. can provide private nurse duty services.
• Home Health Aides (HHAs) – Aides provide support services (including personal care, housekeeping, transportation and errands under the supervision of the appropriate health staff) that assist the client in the achievement of physical and emotional comfort. They can also, upon request, provide one with private duty services.
• Companionship Services – If the client wants someone to keep them company at home or for various outdoor activities, Abbore Care Inc.’s companionship staff can talk, listen or read to the client. They can also send their staff to keep the client company at the hospital or other medical facility.
• Occupational Therapists (OTs) can treat the client through the use of therapeutic activities based on a thorough assessment of the client’s abilities, then tailor programs to help them restore physical function. If the client has a permanent limitation, their OTs can help them devise ways to carry out their everyday functions, as well as design orthotics for them.
