(EstateNewsWire.com, March 29, 2013 ) SEATTLE, WA: Big Trees Inc., (http://bigtreesupply.com/), tree nursery and tree transplanting company operating in the Seattle area, recently undertook a large project transplanting several large trees from Redmond to the San Juan Islands. The San Juan Islands are an archipelago in the northwest corner of the contiguous United States between the US mainland and Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada, and part of the state of Washington. The company assisted a customer moving the trees to his new home in the islands, including transporting the trees across the Puget Sound to their new location.
The trees were moved because the customer was moving to a new home and wanted to enjoy the trees at their new home. Over 10 large trees were moved, some of them over 20’ tall, some more than 10’ wide; and in total the trees took up the surface area of a 40’ flatbed trailer and another large truck. The trees included Birch, Styrax, and Japanese Maple trees. Big Trees Inc. arrived at the site of the trees in Redmond, carefully removed them and transported them first by road, next by boat over the Puget Sound itself. Arriving at their final destination, Big Trees unloaded the trees and successfully finished the transplanting process at the new home in the San Juan Islands.
