(EstateNewsWire.com, December 02, 2012 ) Alpharetta, GA -- The Center for the Brazilian Tanning Industry (CICB), which stands as the national organizations for the leather sector, will host exhibitions on Dec 3 at the High Point Plaza Hotel and Conference Center. The exhibition will be show during the ShowTime market event in High Point. The display will include many of the country’s top leather manufacturers. These suppliers are eager to meet with the interior designers and buyers who may be interested in learning about the latest in leather-based product. This will be the organization’s first exhibition at ShowTime. The showing will take place from 3-7 p.m. on Dec 3 in the Ballroom at the renovated High Point Plaza Hotel and Conference Center, which is located at 135 South Main St. There are no appointments necessary for vendors. Instead, visitors will speak to representatives from Brazil’s finest leather companies at will, at the same time browsing the latest products. Charlotte suppliers and buyers can make a simple day trip from Charlotte to see the Brazilian products, as well as looking through the multiple vendors’ products. "Brazil is known for some of the world's best tanneries producing top-quality leather used in the fashion, upholstery, automotive, and boating industry," says the executive president of CICB, Jose Fernando Bello. "We know that bringing our products to the ShowTime market in High Point will allow us to connect with the most connected and experienced buyers in the industry." A nonstop flight from Charlotte to Rio de Janeiro will be one of the benefits that could draw many to the event. Airlines plan to operate a larger aircraft on the route, highlighting the destinations popularity within the next year. Non-stop flights between Charlotte to Sao Paulo will may also be in the future, pending approval. Companies that currently use Brazilian leather include Learjet, Ford, and GM, among many others. "Since its foundation, CICB has been working as the official representative entity of all Brazilian tanneries, regardless of size or location, defending and promoting Brazilian leather in the domestic and international markets", says Fernando Bello, executive president of CICB. Brazil stands as one of the largest exporters of leather around the world, supplying 28 million hides per year. "Raw materials are used from eco-friendly resources native to Brazil adding an exotic touch to these products that boosts value and creates a unique look that consumers are seeking these days," says Bello.
