(EstateNewsWire.com, November 14, 2012 ) Bakersfield, CA -- Women’s health website BakersfieldFertilityCenter.com posted a new chart, breaking down the success rate for fertility treatment through their center. Located on the home page, viewers can easily see which treatment is most likely to work, as well as when a women has a better chance for it to be successful.
Headlined by Dr Helliwell, Bakersfield Fertility Center shows that using an egg donor or going with surrogacy provides the best odds to impregnate a woman. Both of those treatments come in at 60%, with frozen cycles being another option at 39%.
As covered in other Dr Jason Helliwell discussions, it comes as no surprise that the older a woman is, the less likely a fertility treatment is able to work. About half of women under 35 have success, while that number dips to just 29% after the age of 40.
Helliwell aims to provide the latest procedures and techniques possible to skew the odds in favor of pregnancy. The chart was designed to give women a realistic expectation, but Helliwell’s personal success rate with patients are higher than average.
