In the ads, they talk about how the Micro Touch Max trims hair with micro precision and can be used on ears, nose, eyebrows and also to trim your sideburns.
DadDoes.Com, a product review blog that focuses on doing real world reviews for parent related products, decided to give the Micro Touch Max a test drive. A quick search online for the Micro Touch Max reviews found a wide range of emotions. Some people loved the tiny trimmer, while others wished there was something lower than 1 star that they could give the Micro Touch Max.

What DadDoes.Com found was that the Micro Touch Max worked great for small touch-ups and hair removal. Customers who are looking to trim ear and nose hair, will love the simplicity and efficiency of the Micro Touch Max. Had the TV commercials for the Micro Touch Max just talked about its light hair removal features, most consumers would have been satisified.
The problem with the Micro Touch Max is that it is advertised as a replacement for your powerful electric trimmer. In the Dad Does testing, the single battery operated Micro Touch Max just didn’t have the power for major hair trimming. This would explain the negative reviews on the Micro Touch Max trimmer, consumers had high expectations based on the TV ads.
Nessel states, “This is a clear example of over promising leading to disappointment. If you watch the commercial, you expect the Micro Touch Max to do everything your electric trimmer can do. This is unfortunate, since at $14.95, the Micro Touch Max is never going to replace a much more expensive electric trimmer.”
