(EstateNewsWire.com, October 23, 2012 ) Livonia,Michigan--The Feeding America (FA) system in Michigan provides emergency food support for nearly 1.2 million different people annually. Of those who depend on the FA system for emergency food support, 42% report having to choose between paying for food and paying for utilities or heating fuel.
The Livonia TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®, located at 31037 Schoolcraft Road, is collecting donations for the Gleaners Community Food Bank of Southeastern Michigan by partnering with organizations throughout the community including Childrens World Learning Center and WXYT.
Also to benefit from this food drive is Food Bank Council of Michigan and its member food pantries in preparation for winter.
Movers for Meals will run through Nov. 16 the Friday before Thanksgiving. Anyone interested in supporting the food drive can drop off non-perishable food donations at participating TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® locations in Michigan.

Organizations interested in supporting Movers for Meals as a collection site will be supplied with free donation boxes and donation delivery to Gleaners Community Food Bank.
