(EstateNewsWire.com, June 19, 2017 ) San Jose, CA -- The San Jose Dryer Vent Cleaning Wizard teams up with franchisees all over the United States who play a part with a month-long fundraising action for the Children's Burn Foundation during October, National Fire Prevention Month. The contributions come directly from their corporate office and franchisees, who either promise a dollar amount for each job they complete in October or give a specific amount. Last year, Dryer Vent Wizard was able to donate almost $21,000, boosting their overall contributions made to the Children's Burn Foundation to $63,955.
In order to arrive at their 2017 target of generating $25,000, their corporate office worked on some significant fundraising as well as their impending October campaign. On June 3rd, members of the corporate team engaged in the Tough Mudder race to boost recognition for the Children's Burn Foundation. Tough Mudder is a perseverance competition where people endeavor to race through a muddy 10-- 12 mile-long military-style obstacle course. This is the first year Dryer Vent Wizard of San Jose has performed in a Tough Mudder race, and they are confident that they will discover as much compassionate help for the Children's Burn Foundation during this Tough Mudder drive as they have throughout their past five years of National Fire Prevention Month drives.
